The elementary team was victorious in a dramatic overtime win in game one but the staff was able to squeak out the win against the secondary students in game two. Thank you to all of the students, staff, parents, and former students who took part in this game!
The boys and girls both played well but just could not handle the Finch
Do you know of anyone who has outgrown some cross country skis? We are looking for some for our primary students. Let me know if you have a set that we can buy from you or if you know of anyone wanting to donate skis, boots, or poles. Thanks!
We had our first home games on Tuesday against Bert Ambrose. Both our girls and our boys teams were excited to play and they worked hard. Thank you to Miss VanSnick and Mrs. Hockman for coaching the girls and to Mr. G for coaching the boys team. Their next home games are on Feb. 4th. Thank you to Mr. MacLean and Drayden for reffing and Kayce and Dayna for scorekeeping.
Both of our secondary girls and boys treated us to some excellent games last weekend in the Bert Bowes tournament. The boys had to play with a very short bench but they worked hard and never gave up! Thank you to Mr. MacLean for coaching the boys.
The girls played very well and were leading or tied in every game at some point. They worked as a team and had a very positive attitude. Thank you to Mrs. T. Copes for coaching!
Feb 20-23, 2020
As there will not be instruction at the school, you will be able to take your child/ren to some of the events. It is exciting to be hosting such a prestigious event! No school for students on Thurs. Feb. 20th and Friday, Feb 21st.
We will be playing the students on the 12th afternoon. The elementary team first and then the secondary team. 12:30-1:15pm and 1:20-2:20pm. Come and cheer us on. The staff could use a few extra players so if you would like to join us let Mrs. Hartman know.
Good luck to our boys and girls teams as they play in their 2nd tournament in town. Today at BB at 12:30pm for the Boys and 2:00pm for the girls. Then at NPSS at 5:00pm for the boys and 6:30pm for the girls.
The girls play at 8:00am at NPSS tomorrow morning for anyone wanting to come out and support the team. The boys will play at 3:30 or 5:00pm tomorrow depending upon how they do today.
Thank you to Mr. MacLean and to Mrs. T. Copes for taking the time to coach our teams! We really appreciate it.
Our boys have won both of their matches this season. Congratulations boys and thank you to Andrea for coaching this team.
