Congratulations to Mrs. Cooper’s intermediate class and Miss Davis’ class for winning the challenge. They will receive a pizza lunch on Thursday, February 6th.
Most of our elementary students participated in the challenge and for many we saw some nice improvements with their reading! Thank you parents for supporting the challenge and encouraging your children to read.
Do you know of anyone who has outgrown some cross country skis? We are looking for some for our primary students. Let me know if you have a set that we can buy from you or if you know of anyone wanting to donate skis, boots, or poles. Thanks!
We had our first home games on Tuesday against Bert Ambrose. Both our girls and our boys teams were excited to play and they worked hard. Thank you to Miss VanSnick and Mrs. Hockman for coaching the girls and to Mr. G for coaching the boys team. Their next home games are on Feb. 4th. Thank you to Mr. MacLean and Drayden for reffing and Kayce and Dayna for scorekeeping.
Both of our secondary girls and boys treated us to some excellent games last weekend in the Bert Bowes tournament. The boys had to play with a very short bench but they worked hard and never gave up! Thank you to Mr. MacLean for coaching the boys.
The girls played very well and were leading or tied in every game at some point. They worked as a team and had a very positive attitude. Thank you to Mrs. T. Copes for coaching!
Thank you to the PAC for supporting our guest instructor, Mrs. Bowyer to come to Clearview to share some of her expertise with us. The students and staff learned some great new drawing and relaxing strategies for themselves and for students.
As there will not be instruction at the school, you will be able to take your child/ren to some of the events. It is exciting to be hosting such a prestigious event! No school for students on Thurs. Feb. 20th and Friday, Feb 21st.
