We were able to watch some amazing volleyball last night as the grade 8 and 9 teams from Bert Bowes, Dr. Kearney, Upper Pine, and Clearview took part in our second annual tournament. Â It was great to see such great sportsmanship and teamwork!
The Grade 8 Bert Bowes girls won the B pool in a tightly contested match against the Dr. Kearney’s grade 8 girls.
In the A pool, it is the Dr. Kearney grade 9 girls and the Dr. K grade 8/9 boys who will play the final later at their school due to the lateness of the evening and because many of the teams are off to DC today. Â Almost all of the matches went to 3 sets between all of the teams with some great rallies.
Thank you to the refs: Jesse, Maddie, Devyn, Alanna, and Emma as they were excellent.
