We will be trying out some new games and a special event on Wednesday, January 31st afternoon.  Please dress appropriately for the conditions as we will be spending some of the afternoon outside.

  • Amazing Engineers!

Success at the grade 6 spaghetti bridge building competition on Thursday as we won both the silver and the bronze medals.
Congratulations to Tal Kahana and Ryder Beckerton for their excellent design which earned them the silver medal and to Raelle Amboe and Justin Vander Linden who won the bronze medals.

  • Read and Feed Celebration

It was a fun afternoon of reading and sharing stories.  Thank you to Mr. Petrucci for reading us one of his favourite stories and for staying for the afternoon.
Congratulations to our top readers from each class!

  • Staff Wins!

The staff defeated the elementary boys and girls, as well as, the secondary girls’ volleyball teams.   Although the students were a bit surprised by this, the staff wasn’t as surprised with all of their age and wisdom.

  • Sewing and Knitting Fun!

The secondary students are learning how to knit, crochet, and sew.  Look at them go!

  • Unplugged Coding

We were fortunate to have Mrs. Petrucci here to work with the students and one of the activities that she did was unplugged coding in the grade 5/6 classroom.

  • Reading Challenge- More Readers Needed

We are traveling across Canada and most of the classes are 1/2 way there.  Thank you for supporting the students with their reading.  Daily reading helps to build fluency and to establish a homework time.
