We had a very successful first SD 60 district cross country run yesterday!
Preston Johnson took first place, Brody Newsham took 9th in the primary boys’ division and Lucas Bueckert worked hard to finish in the middle of the pack.
Kailey Amboe took 4th place in the primary girls’ division.
We dominated in the intermediate girls’ division with Staysha Hiebert earning 2nd and Hayley Copes finishing one second behind in 3rd place. Kayla Leunenberger 5th, Arlee Newsham 7th, Grace Meekes 8th, and Charlie Vibert 20th (her first run in the intermediate category).
Quinton finished in the middle of the pack for the intermediate boys’ in his first intermediate race.
Chase Copes won the middle school boys’ division and Donovan Viens took 3rd place.
Isabel Amboe earned 1st with Tanis Johnson taking 2nd in the middle school girls’ division.
