The participation this year was excellent!  Thanks to all the parents for the work you put into the costumes.  A fun day was had by all.

Thanks to all the parents who came out for our Open house this year and especially for all the great treats that were provided!

It was great to see everyone out this morning for the annual Terry Fox Run.  It was a brisk (freezing!) day but the students didn’t mind too much.  Over $300.00 was raised through donations and will be given to the Terry Fox Foundation.  Thanks again for all your support.

A fun day was had by all.  The lunch and snacks were delicious!  Thanks to everyone who helped out.

There were lots of new sheriffs in town and lots of catching bad guys!!

Students, staff and parents have been involved in re-working the School Improvement Plan for 2010/2011.  Click on the link below to have a look.  It will also be permanently available in the “documents” link on the right hand side.

Students in grades 4-10 are back taking sampler courses on Friday afternoons for the next 5 weeks.  Topics include Tole Painting, Mechanics, Foods, Fitness, Clay Sculpting, Dance, Clay animation and Tile Painting.

Mrs Viens’ class participated in the speech arts festival this year as a class.  There were several solo poem recitals – Alexandra Lehmann, J.T. Palmer, Grace Giesbrecht, Annika VanderLinden and Christina Lehmann.  They all performed very well –

Many students from Mr. Wilson’ class and a few from the other classes participated in the science fair in the gym.  A special thanks to Esso for providing our judges.  We will be sending 7 students on to the regional science fair at the end of April.
