Mrs. Hockman provided a lot of learning – skinning, gutting, quartering, deboning and butchering a deer. He was completely cut and wrapped and is now in the freezer until next week when he becomes jerky and drymeat. Thankful for everyone who was willing to learn a different way of doing things! Many were out of their comfort zone and still were hands in! Thank you to Mrs. Hatton for helping Mrs. Hockman get him to school.
Many of the students in our school were able to see some of the process, to be honest this is more common out here and most of the students were pretty comfortable with the process. As many at home may not want to look at the pictures they will be included in the yearbook rather than on the site.
