Mrs. Miller’s class had the opportunity to decorate gingerbread houses today. They were very creative with their designs. A big thank you to Mrs. Nixon Vander Linden for donating a house for each student to decorate.

Outdoor Ed and Foods Amazing Learning Opportunity on Thursday
Mrs. Hockman provided a lot of learning – skinning, gutting, quartering, deboning and butchering a deer. He was completely cut and wrapped and is now in the freezer until next week when he becomes jerky and drymeat.

Will it float? How many marbles will it hold?
Our K, 1, and Grade 2 students were hard at work building boats and then testing them to see how many marbles they would hold. Thank you to Miss Davis and Mr. MacLean for helping them build and test these boats today.

The students had fun building shelters for Ferdinand so that he could sit quietly and smell the flowers.
Looking Forward to Seeing More of our Students Tomorrow
Tomorrow our grade 7 students and our Tuesday/Wednesday elementary groups arrive. We are lucky to have very small classes so if more students decide to come to school we will be able to accommodate them. I have attached a few pictures of the drop off zone and the elementary entrance.
Earth Day Today
