• Pro-D Day Tomorrow- No school

Just a reminder that it is a professional development day tomorrow and there is no school for the students. See you on Monday!

  • Impressive Art!

Currently we have a number of pieces of art hanging up at Learning Services.  They will be displayed for Oct and November so if you are in the building look for our students artwork.
We still have lots displayed in our hallways so the next time you are in please take a look.

  • Growth Mindset is Important

We all need to have a growth mindset! I can’t do this, ‘yet’ rather than I can’t do this.

  • Learning to Cook :)

The grade 8 students were busy learning how to make their own chicken strips and french fries from scratch.  They turned out well.

  • Reading Challenge is On

We were excited to have Mrs. Boettcher join us to kick off our reading challenge on Monday.  She shared a number of books and stories with each class.  The challenge will be taking place for the next 3 weeks.

  • More Impressive Art

Our grade 8 students completed some amazing paintings on canvases this term.

  • Assessments and Learning

Reminder that students will be working until the last week of June.  It is important that they arrive at school on time and attend regularly as they will be completing assessments, assignments, and projects.  Thank you for your support.

  • Summer Learning Camps

    Here is a great opportunity!
    ———————————————————————

    Parents,

The Key Learning Centre is once again offering summer learning to students entering Grades 1 – 9 in September 2018. Camps will only run if a minimum number of students are registered in order to make the camp viable to run.

  • Baby Chicks have Arrived!

We are thrilled to see the newest members of room 201.  The baby chicks are hatching quickly.  7 chicks have arrived already.  Miss. Cote’s class have been eagerly awaiting their arrival.
