The students did an amazing job presenting their research and experiments during the science fair yesterday.  Thank you to Mr. Girard for organizing this well attended event.  As well, thank you to our judges,

Due to the snow days and buses not running we were not able to confirm judges for the science fair today so we will be having it tomorrow.
 

Due to the cancellation of the buses, the science fair will not be held until the buses are running.  As the forecast is not looking promising for tomorrow it may not be until Monday.
 

The students are excited to present their science fair projects tomorrow.  Come and take a look at these amazing projects tomorrow afternoon.  In the morning, it will be closed for judging only.
 

It is great to see how many students are supporting our pink shirt day.
 

Thank you to Nova Gas Transmissions/TransCanada Pipeline for their generous donation of bottles.  We raised $927!  Thank you to the leadership club and Mrs. Viens and Mrs. Cooper’s grade 5/6 class for helping to sort and move the numerous bags of bottles.

Pink Shirt Day

Congratulations to all of our competitors and a special congratulations to Tommy Copes and Cole Vander Linden for taking First Place in the Gravity Cars at the Regional Skills competition.  The boys will be heading to Abbotsford for the provincial competition in April.

Mrs Viens was working really hard with our grade 8/9 students on guitar.  They presented Amazing Grace to the staff and students at the assembly this morning.  Well done!  IMG_0948  Click on this link to hear them.
