Wow it has been a great start to our day, as Sigmund has been sharing so many powerful stories, mixed with great music, and creative videos.  The students are completely engaged!

We would like to recognize Family Literacy Day on the 27th.  I have included an excellent resource from ABC Literacy.

Hi Everyone,
The students will be participating in a reading challenge for the next two weeks.  This challenge will be different because each day they read for a minimum of 15 minutes they will earn kilometres.

We have a busy month ahead of us.  We are excited to have author Sigmund Brouwer here on this Thursday and he will be sharing his Rock and Roll Literacy presentation to the whole school at 8:45am.

We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We look forward to seeing the students on Monday, January 7th.

Thank you to Mrs. Viens who directed such an amazing Christmas concert experience for everyone!  We are so fortunate here to have the resources, space, talent, and willingness of all of the staff to help produce an excellent product.

It will be a pj day on Thursday after the concert so please come in your pjs; however, the students are still hard at work and many classes have tests that day.
 

Just a reminder that the students have been working hard to be able to present their Christmas Concert tomorrow.
Afternoon Dress Rehearsal at 12:30pm: Families are welcome to attend this performance as it is very crowded at night.
