PJ Day- Dec 20th

It will be PJ day on Thursday, December 20th after our full day of Christmas concerts.  Again students will have the opportunity to earn points for their house teams.

Wear Your Christmas Colours- Wed. Dec. 12th

We will be dressing up in our Christmas clothing or colours on Wednesday, Dec. 12th and we will be singing some Christmas carols in the learning centre at 11:30am.  Students will earn house points for their teams.

Book Fair Extended

Due to no buses running for this past week, we have extended the book fair for Monday and Tuesday.  If your child/ren would like to buy a book please send them with their money and note if they know which book they would like.

Iron Chef with a Secret Ingredient

The grade 7 students showed their creativity with just a few ingredients.  Our grade 9 judges thought they all did very well.

Teamwork and Fun for Boys’ Volleyball

The boys finished their season with some excellent teamwork and worked hard right until the end in the district tournament.  They played well and should be proud of themselves.  Thank you to Miss Davis for taking the time to coach the boys.

Volleyball Success

Both of our girls’ volleyball teams were amazing at the district tournament yesterday.  They played with heart and achieved much success.  It was great to see the teamwork and the outstanding sportsmanship from all of the girls.

Author Sigmund Brouwer Chatting with our Gr. 2/3s

It was exciting to have author Sigmund Brouwer chat with all of our grade 2 and 3 students yesterday via skype!  They were prepared with some great questions and eager to chat with him as they have been working with Sigmund’s Story Ninja program.

Amazing Beading Opportunity

We are very fortunate to have Mrs. Hockman and some additional helpers, Mrs. Harding, Mrs. J. Clay, Mrs. J. Drschiwiski providing an opportunity for our secondary students to learn how to make little moccasins and/or earrings with beading.

Clearview Chopped- An Amazing Afternoon

We were treated to some amazing cooking from our grade 8 students yesterday!  They teamed up to compete in an iron chef type of competition.  They were given a few ingredients and had to create a dish and were given one hour to prepare.

Buddy Projects

Our grade 2/3 class along with their buddies from the grade 5/6 class are creating some beautiful winter scenes. They are not finished yet but have already created some amazing scenes.
