• Sing, Dance, and Cheer!

    It was an exciting week with Rik Leaf here!  The students enjoyed song writing, collaborating, and performing at the Thursday assembly.  I will post the youtube video as soon Rik finishes it.  It should be great as the students were AWESOME!

  • No School on Monday, February 12th

    Just a reminder that there is no school on Monday, February 12th as it is Family Day.  Enjoy your long weekend and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, February 13th.  Hopefully it will actually warm up 🙂
    Reminder to bring in your orange ski trip forms and money for candy grams and for the heart and stroke coin drive.

  • Heart and Stroke Coin Drive

    We are collecting donations for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  We will be having a Jump Rope for Heart skipping event next Thursday morning.  Students will be trying a variety of different types of skipping.

  • Jump Rope for Heart Coin Drive

    We will be collecting coins and bills too for the Heart and Stroke Foundation this week and next week.  The students will be skipping on Wednesday, February 14th to help keep their hearts healthy and to celebrate Jump Rope for Heart.

  • Arctic Games Afternoon on Wednesday, January 31st

    We will be trying out some new games and a special event on Wednesday, January 31st afternoon.  Please dress appropriately for the conditions as we will be spending some of the afternoon outside.
     

  • Amazing Engineers!

    Success at the grade 6 spaghetti bridge building competition on Thursday as we won both the silver and the bronze medals.
    Congratulations to Tal Kahana and Ryder Beckerton for their excellent design which earned them the silver medal and to Raelle Amboe and Justin Vander Linden who won the bronze medals.

  • Read and Feed Celebration

    It was a fun afternoon of reading and sharing stories.  Thank you to Mr. Petrucci for reading us one of his favourite stories and for staying for the afternoon.
